ARCADIS provided Program Management / Construction Management (PM/CM) services for a $68 million Water Capital Program project. The entire project included a new raw water intake from Rockdale County, Georgia's water reservoir, raw water pipelines, water treatment plant, and 19 miles of transmission lines connecting and tying to the existing water system. Startup of the system is complex with flow reversals, new water chemistry mixing with the old water, changes to the pressure zones within the system, and training of a complete new water operations staff. ARCADIS has a master program schedule in place due to the multiple designers and contrators involved.
