ARCADIS was selected to be the project manager for Howard County, Maryland's new 7,000 SF Central Arrest Booking facility and 1,500 SF District Court Commissioners facility. The facility will be attached to the existing Howard County Detention Center. The project will include site development, vehicular infrastructure, storm water management and utilities extensions to the site. Once attached, the facility will allow for interior secure access to the existing Howard County Detention Center. The facility will have two primary functions, one will be to hold female and male detainees who are awaiting processing, and the other, a commissioner’s office with office space, reception area and storage areas.
