ARCADIS has played an active role in the development of the Renaissance Center from the beginning; our survey crews, civil engineers and architects have contributed their experienced toward the fulfillment of this dream.

ARCADIS worked with Innocenti & Webel and Byington Landscape Architects to develop plans for a multi-level parking deck that would meet the multiple needs of the various users involved. ARCADIS examined users and needs including a downtown Methodist church; a mortuary's vehicle storage and maintenance facility; a golf course's ground/cart maintenance facility; the Little Theater's performance traffic; a small strip commercial development's parking and service facilities; and present and future parking for mid- to high-rise office space.

The site for the parking deck had already been selected by the master planners and the architect.  ARCADIS creatively engineered parking ramps and ingress/egress locations to most fully meet the wide variety of functional requirements the facility offers.  The initial three levels of the garage can be expanded to four levels as future office buildings are constructed in the proximity of this aggressively growing downtown area.  Parking capacity can grow from an initial 550 parking spaces to a total of 782 spaces.
