ARCADIS provided resident engineering services during the addition of 35,000 sf of space to Northwestern Lehigh High School. ARCADIS' scope of services included: Full-time resident inspection, Shop drawing tracking and comment review, Contractor schedule review and coordination, Changer order review, Contractor progress payment review, Punchlist inspection, Contractor coordination meetings, and Owner reporting. Coordination of the prime contractors was a key element in this project because the site was severely constrained. Existing utilities were temporarily interrupted and extended while classes were in session. ARCADIS oversaw these details and vigorously pursued the contractors for accurate and up-to-date schedule reports so that the superintendent could keep the student body and faculty apprised of all upcoming work.
