May 17, 2007 –Anchorage, Alaska. ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is pleased to announce that Stewart Seaberg has joined our team as senior scientist in our Anchorage office.

Seaberg will be working as a senior scientist on project permitting for a wide range of resource development projects including mining, oil and gas exploration and infrastructure development.  “It is our challenge to facilitate economic development while maintaining the highest standards of fish and wildlife resource protection,” said Seaberg.

With twenty years of experience as a Habitat Biologist with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Seaberg has expansive experience in permitting, resource development, and fish habitat issues in Alaska. Before joining ARCADIS, Seaberg was responsible for staffing and managing the Anchorage Office of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Office of Habitat Management and Permitting.  He has a wide range of experience in project reviews, construction monitoring and creative problem solving related to resource development projects. His areas of expertise include planning and permitting issues, erosion and sediment control, freshwater fisheries and fish habitat restoration.

Seaberg hold a bachelor’s in Biology/Ecology from St. Cloud State University. He is a member of the Alaska Chapter of American Fisheries.
