Stone, P.E. has been promoted to land resources national business practice director for the U.S. operations. In his new role, Stone will provide leadership to the land resources national practice which includes site civil engineering, surveying, land planning, GIS, buildings, as well as full service architecture, interior design, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering. The land resource practice accounts for nearly $50 million in net revenues across the United States from 21 local offices. Stone previously served as the area manager of the Charlotte, North Carolina office.
“Scott built the Charlotte office from a start-up operation to more than 60 people and $6.5 million in revenues in less than three years, building substantial operations in water resources, facilities management and land resources,” said Chuck Leichner, executive vice president for the U.S. infrastructure division. “We know that Scott will bring the same enthusiasm, skill and passion to this expanded national role that he displayed in building the Charlotte operation.”
Stone is a graduate of Clarkson University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, and has a master’s degree in business administration from Marymount University. He is a licensed professional engineer in North Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. Stone will continue to reside in Charlotte.
