Robert Stevens of ARCADIS Appointed to Lone Tree, Colorado Citizen's Transportation Advisory Committee  
 
Denver, Colo. – July 17, 2007 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, is pleased to announce that Robert Stevens, executive vice president and director of the transportation practice, was appointed to City of Lone Tree, Colorado Citizen's Transportation Advisory Committee (CTAC) for a three-year term.

The CTAC provides research and recommendations to the city council and acts as a liaison between the city and RTD for transit scheduling and services.

In commenting on his new appointment to the CTAC, Stevens said, "I've built my career around helping communities across the U.S. improve quality of life through better transportation systems. I'm very pleased to offer my professional experience on a local and personal level as a member of the community."

Stevens recently completed a four-year term on the Board of Governors of the American Society of Civil Engineers' Transportation and Development Institute. He is currently serving as an appointed member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Committee on Professional Practice, where he reviewed and provided comments on the update to ASCE's Manual 73, "Quality in the Constructed Workplace".
