ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting, design and engineering company, announced today that Pete Dyke has joined the company as Executive Vice President and (EVP), Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its U.S. operations. This appointment further strengthens the management team as the company moves forward with its strategic growth initiatives.
In the role of EVP/CFO, Dyke is responsible for the financial oversight, human resources, information technology, and corporate financial governance of ARCADIS U.S. He will serve as a key adviser to operating and executive management while overseeing the organization’s overall financial policies and direction.

Dyke has more than 20 years of financial management experience with various consumer and business product and services companies. This includes his most recent position as Director, Global Infrastructure Organization Business Solutions at Agilent Technologies, the world's premier measurement company and a technology leader in communications, electronics, life sciences and chemical analysis. He joined Agilent in 1999 as Director of Integration Services and was promoted to a succession of progressively responsible positions within the organization including Group Chief Financial Officer, Operations Support Systems Group, and Executive Director, Finance and Administration Strategic Programs, where he led separation and restructuring activities for a $5 billion business portfolio transformation program. Prior to joining Agilent Technologies, Dyke had a successful career at Hewlett-Packard Company where his last position was Day 1 Program Manager for the Agilent spin off.

Dyke earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colorado State University and a master’s in business administration from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
