Wilson works as a human health risk assessor and will provide strategic planning and technical direction on a variety of projects assisting ARCADIS clients in estimating health risks associated with exposure to environmental media. Her expertise includes extensive experience related to contaminated waterway sites, especially regarding the fish consumption exposure pathway.

With over 15 years of consulting experience in assessment, Wilson has contributed her scientific and management expertise to multidisciplinary projects through national professional firms. She has extensive experience in managing and conducting innovative human health risk assessments involving fish/shellfish consumption pathways, including design, management, and data analysis for site-specific surveys, exposure issues and other related studies. Her project work has resulted in interactions on behalf of her clients with EPA regulators in several regions and the states of California, Michigan and New York. As an expert in the field, Wilson has co-authored 15 peer-reviewed papers on topics in human health risk assessment, a book chapter and environmental applied statistics.
Wilson has managed risk assessment projects for waterways, active industrial facilities, data collection, exposure assessments and alternative site use. She holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences and engineering with a minor in biostatistics from the University of North Carolina and a bachelor’s in chemistry and history from Carnegie Mellon University.
