Portland, Maine. – March 20, 2007 – ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is pleased to announce that Nancy Bonnevie, has joined our Portland office as senior scientist.
In her role as senior scientist, Nancy will be responsible for conducting sediment management and risk assessment work for clients in the private and public sectors. Her current projects are working with Georgia Pacific on the Kalamazoo River project and the federal government on two projects with the U.S. Navy. Her expertise will also be utilized on several projects with our fortune 100 clients.

With more than 16 years of experience in ecological and human health risk assessment, Bonnevie is an environmental scientist specializing in aquatic ecology and sediment quality evaluations. She has effectively managed teams on tasks ranging from preliminary site characterizations to multi-tasked field sampling programs, ecological risk evaluations and environmental impact statements. Seen as an expert in the field, she participated in the development of the ecological risk guidance for the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) and has served as a peer-reviewer for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry on issues related to sediment quality evaluations.
Bonnevie also has experience in human health risk assessment and has demonstrated success in projects involving the design and implementation of a wide variety of field studies including sediment and surface water quality evaluations, fish consumption, and habitat assessments.
She holds a bachelor’s of Science in biology from Bates College in Maine.
