ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, today announced that Lynn Gresock has joined the company as Associate Vice President for the US Environmental Division, project manager for environmental permitting.
As an accomplished expert, Gresock will be responsible for environmental siting and licensing, as well as transactional due diligence support. She brings over 24 years of experience to her clients in environmental consulting for projects in the energy sector. She has specialized in permitting and due diligence activities for industrial, commercial and residential development projects.
As a noted expert in environmental planning and permitting, Gresock has successfully permitted over 35 energy projects - over 15,000 MW of generating facilities plus natural gas and electric infrastructure. She has experience dealing with a wide range of facilities, including fossil-fuel-fired power, renewable energy, natural gas pipelines, electrical transmission line and LNG facilities. Additionally she brings expertise in environmental evaluations, health and safety issues through transactional due diligence, auditing and environmental management program development.
Gresock has extensive experience in site selection and suitability studies; permitting documentation; due diligence assessments; environmental management and auditing evaluations; and municipal planning documents. She is an experienced negotiator and client advocate in matters involving environmental issues.
Gresock joined ARCADIS after serving as Vice President, Energy Programs, AMEC Earth & Environmental, Inc. She has prepared and directed numerous environmental impact statements and other resource permits, and has extensive experience in guiding projects through regulatory channels in a timely and responsive manner. In addition to her consulting experience, Gresock has worked within the industrial sector and with regulatory agencies; she combines a unique perspective with the knowledge to successfully develop and implement environmental strategies. Gresock holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from the University of Massachusetts.
