Charleston, S.C. – Dec. 11, 2006 – ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is pleased to announce that Daniel McInnis has joined our Charleston office as project engineer in our land resources group.
McInnis will be responsible for project management and design for land development projects including residential, commercial, industrial and institutional. He will also provide engineering design for water resources projects in the Charleston office.

With over twenty years experience in management, design, construction and operations, McInnis is known for providing creative and efficient solutions for new developments, expansions to existing facilities and client challenges. Previous director of engineering for the City of Savannah, Georgia, McInnis was responsible for all construction and development related activities for the city’s water and sewer system throughout Chatham County. Having overseen successful projects in excess of $240 million, McInnis utilizes team project management, timely and cost-effective designs and installations and responsive client service.
McInnis is a graduate of The Citadel with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Recipient of the prestigious U.S. Navy’s Meritorious Service Award (the second highest award conferred on civilians), McInnis was naval architect on the Charleston Naval Shipyard overhaul where he was required to make critical decisions affecting the lives of 1,500 people and over a billion dollars of weapons, equipment and supplies. A registered professional engineer in South Carolina, Georgia and in-progress, North Carolina, McInnis is a member of the Charleston Civil Engineers Club.
