Charleston, S.C. Nov. 20, 2006 ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is pleased to announce that Gary Freeman has joined our Charleston office as principal engineer in our water resources group.
Freeman will focus primarily on project management for water resources including water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design. He will also be directly involved in marketing our water resources services and land development services.
Gary brings local experience and area knowledge to his new position with ARCADIS. As our position and service offerings here in South Carolina continue to grow and expand, we are better prepared to deliver excellence to our clients. Previous project manager for a local Charleston engineering company, Freeman has overseen projects in excess of $8 million. He has successfully managed projects that have included installation of equalization basins, vortex grit collection systems, ultra-violet disinfection systems, and water and sewer system upgrades for municipal clients.
Freeman is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in civil engineering. A registered professional engineer in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, he is also a member of the Water Environmental Association of South Carolina and the American Water Works Association.
