Christopher Moody, R.G. Joins ARCADIS as an Environmental Geologist  
 

ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, today announced that Christopher Moody, R.G. has joined ARCADIS’ expanding waterfront and sediments operation group as an environmental geologist.

As a lead environmental geologist, Moody brings over 13 years of experience to the most renowned sediment team in the U.S. He will be responsible for coordinating and implementing a wide-range of sediment projects ensuring they meet the objectives of our clients, regulators and the expectations of ARCADIS. Moody will perform site investigations, feasibility studies, remediate contaminated sediment sites,, geological and hydrological services to ARCADIS’ private and public sector clients.

Prior to joining ARCADIS, Moody was an assistant project manager for URS where he was responsible for leading the west coast sediment work, business development of clients with complex contaminated sediment service needs. He has extensive regulatory expertise with state and federal governments for site cleanups. He has a wide range of experience in project procurement, innovative surface and subsurface investigations and project management. He led client negotiations with Oregon State’s Department of Environmental Quality and the EPA. He has conducted remedial investigation and feasibility studies, and performed remedial design and remedial action work at over 15 high profile contaminated sediment sites. 

Moody holds a bachelor’s in Environmental Geology from Northern Arizona University. He is a registered professional geologist in the states of Oregon and Arizona.
