May 17, 2007 –Montgomery, Ala. ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is pleased to announce that Charles Wright P.E. has joined our talented team as project manager of transportation design in our Montgomery office.
In his new position Wright will serve as project manager for transportation design projects for ARCADIS’ South region clients. He will be responsible for managing ARCADIS projects for clients like Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), local counties, and municipalities.

“Charles has his hand on the pulse of transportation issues facing the south,” stated, Bill Carwile, associate vice president. “We are excited that he has joined our accomplished team and expanded our services to our valued clients.” 
Wright joins ARCADIS with more than 20 years of transportation engineering experience, including nine years with the ALDOT.  He has served as project manager for numerous transportation projects throughout the Southeast. Wright has demonstrated his commitment to projects success on a variety of projects from small bridge replacements, multi-lane road relocations, and additional lanes in both rural and urban settings to denied access roadways with interchanges. His work has been multi faceted through every level of project management including; roadway plans, developing project and division budgets, attending all plan inspections, preparing monthly invoices, responding to requests for proposals and project conception for potential projects.

Wright holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from Auburn University.  He is an active member of American Society of Civil Engineers national and local Montgomery Ala. association groups. He is a registered professional engineer in Ala., Ga., Miss., and Tenn.
