ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the international consulting and engineering company, today announced that it has been selected as the new District Engineer for Northern Palm Beach County Improvement District (district). The district, which was created by the Florida Legislature in 1959, provides services related to water management and infrastructure for properties in northern Palm Beach County.
"ARCADIS is highly regarded and has built an enviable reputation based on providing outstanding service to their clients, which include Lake Worth Drainage District, Tradition Community Development District, St. Lucie West Services District and the Florida Governmental Utility Authority," the district stated in its announcement.
ARCADIS was selected based on the depth and strength of its Statement of Qualifications and its presentation to the district's Board of Supervisors. As District Engineer, ARCADIS will be responsible for overseeing numerous projects, permits, construction and easements within the District boundaries, and for coordination with other municipalities and government entities. ARCADIS Vice President Robert Lawson, P.E. will work with district staff.
