ARCADIS Expands Operations, Opens Office in Anchorage, Alaska
 
 

Denver, Colo  – Jan. 8, 2007 – ARCADIS (NASDAQ: ARCAF, EURONEXT: ARCAD) is very pleased to announce expansion of our Northwest operations with the opening of an office in Anchorage, Alaska.


In keeping with our core value of client focus with a local presence and strong knowledge of local conditions, ARCADIS currently has 3,500 employees in 125 offices strategically located throughout the United States. The Anchorage office is conveniently located in downtown Anchorage at 1015 West 7th Avenue.

Our clients will benefit greatly from the over 50 years combined experience our Anchorage team has in managing and evaluating projects, dealing with government, native villages and establishing solid community relations,” said Zack Smith, Executive Vice President for ARCADIS.


Managing the Anchorage office is Glenn Ruckhaus. With more than 20 years of professional experience in managing and evaluating resource development projects throughout the western U.S. and Alaska, Ruckhaus’ diverse experience has included exploration, NEPA planning and process, regulatory compliance and government relations. Ruckhaus is a graduate of the University of Colorado and holds a bachelor’s degree in geology.


Playing a key role in expanding ARCADIS’ consulting practice in the western U.S. including Alaska is Phil DeDycker. With over 32 years experience in the environmental, engineering and regulatory aspects of natural resource development and facilities closure, DeDycker has been responsible for more than 200 mining and oil and gas projects in the U.S. and on three continents. DeDycker is a graduate of Montana College of Mineral Science & Technology with a bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering.
