ARCADIS Awarded $6.0 Million Planning and Engineering Services Contract by New Orleans Corps  
 

ARCADIS, an international consulting and engineering company, today announced that it has been awarded a multidisciplinary planning and design services contract .  The three-year contract, valued at $6.0 million is available to be  used  regionally by six Corps Districts in the Mississippi River Valley  from the Canadian Border to the Gulf of Mexico.

ARCADIS is slated to provide a wide range of planning and engineering services related to civil works projects including participating and conducting studies for flood damage reduction, navigation, and ecosystem restoration.  The team may be used to perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, economic and environmental analyses, and sedimentation and geomorphological engineering analyses.  Other tasks may include master planning and conducting engineering design studies for preparation of plans and specifications.
